THE GANG.

The best i have got out of Loyola is my gang of friends who i am sure are going to be around- For Life. Of the 100 or so in my class there is a bunch of 8 , sometimes extended, but mostly just us who were the last benchers and even though we weren't always at peace between ourselves-stuck together amidst the rest of the class. Below i speak about them-

Ajay.- the big guy- both financially and physically . the gym physique muscle man who never misses a work out even during semister exams.. often seen as the leader of our pack by most and initiates all our trouble making schemes as well as plans which never happen. He' s had litrally every kind of car through coll life and his 2 dogs are the cutest in the world.lives in one of the nicest houses i have seen.Already expereienced in the construction field from going to his dads sites -plans to pursue mba in a twinning programme-Australia and Singapore and probably the smartest in our group atleast considering he usually gets the highest marks within us. Very rarely tripped on and a party animal on saturday nights can catch him at Dublin or the Lounge though he doesnt drink and has very high standards on girls. Basicaly pretty sweet and can rely on for any kind of help anytime.. Knows all the right contacts for getting you anything anytime and ya he's the guy we are all most thankful to for the notes we xrox right bfore each exam- only one who takes down and completes notes given in class.widely travelled. greatly experienced and overall a gem of a person worth knowing for a long LONG time to come. he is funny. supportive. and a gr8 friend.owe him a lot for bailing me out of trouble a couple of times.

Harsh.- is the silent member of our gang. he is very reserved and probably the most hardworking member of our gang. he is also the tallest among our group. He has often felt left out and tried to switch gangs and even form his own where he can be the star but at the end of the day is is a part of us. he does turn phsycho sometimes and can be very crazy when he gets angry-like i have found out. he ends up doing well in the subjects-probably second to ajay at most times. But he is one guy you shouldnt trust before an exam cause till the last hour he will claim he hasnt started but when the marks come he wil eventually do better than you.Probably his dav background influence. he and ajay were friends since school times. he is the only maru in our class -probably the nicest maru i know that helps out and isnt selfish or anything. he is generally good natured and well behaved. he doesnt take part in any of our mischief and sometimes we tease him for the fact that hes a usless member to our gang cause he doenst involve in trouble. He is the type to play better safe than sorry.Probably one of the safest sanest members and the only one with a plan about the future..Even when hes there he can be mistaken for not being present. he is also very sincere in his love liking the same girl seriously for a long time and all that. he plans to go work in Delhi and then do his mba. I am very thankful to this guy cause hes the one who collects all the notes and gives me bfore each exam..

K.T.- Keyur Thanna or KT as he is known to all.. is the rare guy. he bunks a lot and we dont see him much @ coll. loves driving on ecr and partying at distil.. he gets overly enthu sometimes and participates in class when known topics are being discussed. he has come out wit us just twice. once in 1st yr my beachhouse and then now wen we finished coll our last exam day.. but he's one guy u can trust.. can always call him and seek comfort bfore the exam cause he surely wouldnt have even started .. has a quick grasping power though and when he does study even if its for a bit.. he manages to remember and get by .. he has got on bad side of one or 2 profs.. . he’s a guju.. being all responsible.. sits in his dads shop and helps out and all.. one guy u can totaly trust and who wil b there wen u need if he can do neting he wil... he did get us into a bit of a fix at the coll ending wit some trouble wit our mfs assignment.. but he's a part of the gang jus as any of the rest of us. and has no issues with anyone and gets on fine..with the general nice guy image in the class and with profs.

Pavan.- as of now the most succesful among us. only 1 to take his internship seriosly and turn it into a full time paying job at ABN... he's very charismatic can talk very well and is pretty good with numbers smart wen it comes to answering doubts and he wil do very well with people .. can convince well etc.. To date though, his mystery gf remains a secret even to us but then again thts his choice..as long as he's happy.. He is the careful type.good sense of music.kind of sentimental abt possessions too .he hass also changed from first year losing weight and having a new shaved look for his head...a bit of a tension case wen it comes to problems and over reacts a bit but basicaly hes our pavan and hes quite a style icon espcially wen it comes to dressing all formal for work..he is a very good conneseiur of food and knows all the best places and right things to eat and.. often giving us information we are thankful to have, he is also a gadget freak wit an o2.. and knows the best deals and bargains on electronics and stuff. he definitely has a bright future ahead he studies pretty decently too.........drives a black xing.. and hes so meticulate that even aftermore than a year his back seat covers still have the plastic intact. so imagine!!

Pintu.- started out as as this nerdy looking guy in 1st yr wit geeky glasses. at first i thought he was a wannabe with his rap star style dressing and wallet wit chain and funky designs on his loose fit jeans etc.he is the guy who loves stickers..had this idea of stickering all our cars as a gang with UDN. his car seat even wears a tshirt.. he is the life of concerts with pushup style dance moves. very energetic.hilarious.into rap and fast catchy music.he is also the most targeted victim of profs and our new competion to Ajay for the muscle man title even though he claims he rarely works out he can build muscles by just breathing sittin at home. not the best at grades but he more than compensates being the most active spirit among us and a master at practical jokes(runs in the family-his dads a famous tami comedian) and mischief .often gets him hated by many but generaly hes a sweet guy albeit a bit selfish sometimes but then again who isnt. he drinks he smokes he dances he lifts weights he does it all..hes the comedian of our gang and he never gives a dull moment. his gr8test feat was probably the highest record kebabs at radison kebab court @ my bday tr8... must admit i hav had a lot of differences wit this guy even got pissed off once so much with his putting down that i actualy hit him @ quench but then again he means well in the end.......probably got a few arrears to go bfore he gradutates though but i wish him the very best of luck.can catch him anywhere around adyar or at besy beach-but mostly @ maverick gym. life of the gang-boring without him in class or even when we meet up outside.

Rambo.- another tension case.. he claims to be the least smart of the 4 siblings in his family.he is the one who lives closest to my place. always manages to trouble me for notes at THE last minute and always takes forever to get them done and give it back-never hesitating to cut into my studying schedule. sigh.. not tht i have a serious one but still.lol. refuses to admit his closeness to the mal gang . hes not one though but acts almost like he is part of them-he is accepted by the,. lol we hav our doubts.. he started smoking in Pintu's influence.. he's the dude with the red Avenger(feels like god-bike) and he's the only one in his family ( that has 2 cars) that drives.lucky bum. he likes a good drink.. parties on sat night.. knows just abt every chick in town.. ( duno if they know him) slitly also a tension case.. very easy to rag or fool.kind of difficult to trust,.. manages to study last minute.. even if he claims not to he suddenly gets suprisingly decent marks, he is very holy in the sense he goes to church just about every day. thts cause his mom insists. lol. pintus partner in crime.. and comes up wit the gossips and happenings in town ...he plans to get into his dads business.. and i am sure he he wil do very well.. always seems to have reasons for backing out of plans. notorious for ignoring fone calls wen he wants to avoid us. kind of sneaky somtimes......but basically a good guy wit a good heart though.. can count on him to help.......... even did an assignment for me once.sweet chap!

Vikram Balaji.- or Balu (has many such nicknames) was mistakenly put in BA-Eco instead of NIFT or NID where he belongs. he comes up wit the most orginal fashion style of dressing and he studies for hours unlimited but gets around the same marks as me.his clothes hav often got us raising eyebrows...he is best known for his gym expereince and the trainers who loved him .. + his diet recommendation they gave.. he too innocent and often our target of haressment in asking him the most obvious questions and getting funny replys-for our entertainment..he wil eventualy finish his mba sumwhere and get into the leather industry like his family and probably come up wit impressive designs.. he's totally reliable and trustworthy..... desperately seeking a chick........ been linked wit several.. can be seen in dublin partying on saturdays or cruising around town wit his freind Kartik. loves cars . cricket. f1....... tv.. and is a tamil film hero look alike. Cause of him that i messed up my pfm assignment-no forgivness for that. he comes from a large family and goes on the annual temple visit to the mountain. He is never one to back out or ditch us on plans but surprisingly he did for our final meet up on the last day. No bad habits whatever and not influenced also.

There are a couple of others that i am equally glad to meet but these 7+i (can't write about myself can i?) are the gang that pretty much hung out together at class-for whatever little time we spent inside it-and outside. The past 3 years has shown us so much, brought us closer, given us so much memories we wil forever remember. Catching a bite at Loyola Fast Foods, Eatalica, Vivs, etc. Juice @ that juice shop near Nathans DVD parlour where we kept going pretty much everyday towards the end of college, long chats in The Lane, Got screwed by the profs.. bitched about them...complained. generally earning the hate and dislike of just about every other group or individual in class but mostly us sticking together.Those trips to the beach. Those neverending chats on body building,movies, those drives down ecr.. even the rare partying or going to one of our houses..or having a drink together . -sitting in the last row-playing stupid games .. ragging each other-catching a new flick when it came out...Whether it was almost geting suspended thanks to PFM prof.. or MFS prof screwing us on the very last day for getting our assignments done by some one else. Even if we go to college after 10 years i am sure we will be remembered for all the trouble we caused. we were That bad. Those endless hours chatting in the coll car park or lane-staying over at coll til 4 to learn pfm frm hitesh and eventually geting f*ed in the exam-for having been taught it wrong...having entertainment from messing with others at coll.. the whole thing with my Her and then well A. Crashing my car head on @ Outreach, hanging out together-and all the other irreplacable fun over the 3 years.. i wish all of them the very best and hope they all make it big in life so that we can go back someday and say we werent that worthless after all-lol.....anyways its been a fun 3 years thanks to these 7 guys and the others.so signing off with thanks, -a very indebted with gratitude c.
